How to move SajiloShare accounts to a new phone

Changing phones? Move every saved MeroShare account to the new device with an encrypted transfer file or a nearby Wi-Fi transfer, without retyping passwords.

Before you start

Credentials are stored only on your old phone, so they have to be moved from it. Both methods ask you to confirm with your app PIN or biometrics, so set up the app lock first.

Option 1: nearby transfer over Wi-Fi

  1. Connect both phones to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. On the old phone, open Export Accounts, choose the accounts and pick Transfer to nearby device.
  3. On the new phone, open Import Accounts and tap Scan QR.
  4. Check that the verification number matches on both phones, then tap Allow on the old phone.

Option 2: encrypted transfer file

  1. On the old phone, open Export Accounts, choose the accounts and set an export password.
  2. Share the .sajiloshare file to the new phone by any method: Files, AirDrop, Nearby Share, email or chat.
  3. On the new phone, open Import Accounts, select the file and enter the export password.
  4. Choose whether to keep or replace any accounts that already exist, then import.

The file is encrypted and useless without the password, which is not stored in it. There is no way to recover a forgotten export password, so choose one you will remember and never send it in the same message as the file.

Do all of this in one app

SajiloShare stores each MeroShare account once, applies for all of them in one run, checks every result together and shows your portfolio after charges and tax. Free on Android and iPhone.
